Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society (CABS) to Discuss the Changing Landscape of Global Biopharmaceutical
R&D Innovation and Collaboration at 2012 BioPacific Conference

San Francisco, CA – February 05, 2012 - The BioPacific Conference 2012 will be held on June 2, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Foster City, California, U.S.A. The theme of this year’s conference will be “Changing Landscape of Global Biopharmaceutical R&D Innovation and
Collaboration”. This full-day event is expected to attract over 500 attendees from the US and China. Its agenda will focus on emerging trends
in the industry across the Pacific Ocean, including:

• Industrial trends and global strategies for R&D innovation
• Recent breakthroughs in biomedical research and drug discovery
• Emerging R&D business models and directions in US/China collaboration
• Legal, regulatory, and cultural considerations in developing drug products in the US and China

In recent years, CABS has played an increasingly important role in bridging the biopharmaceutical communities across the Pacific Ocean.
In particular, the BioPacific Conference serves as an important venue for peer-to-peer networking to exchange ideas for new projects and
to recruit talents.
